Male breast reduction surgery can eliminate this anxiety and give the confidance of a masculine physique.
The immediate physical improvements are the most obvious advantages of the procedure of gynecomastia surgery. You can have a firmer shape, a straighter silhouette, and overall increased manly dimensions with the procedure. Also, there are a variety of psychological advantages to male breast reduction. Men who get gynecomastia surgery can change in the locker room or go to the beach with more confidence. Their concerns are removed along with their excess chest tissue, and they no longer have “man boobs” to hide.

Gynecomastia Procedure
During the surgical procedure, you will receive medication for comfort. Both general anesthesia and intravenous sedation are options. The doctor will advise you on the best way to proceed.
Liposuction: This procedure can be used alone when the primary cause of gynecomastia is excess adipose tissue.
For this procedure, a cannula, (a small tube) will be inserted through small incisions. Then cannula will move according to fat structure to shape the breast. When the excess fat loosen it will be removed via vacuum sunction.
Various liposuction techniques are available; the one best suited to your situation will be decided before your treatment.
Excision: When excess skin or glandular breast tissue needs to be removed to treat gynecomastia, excision procedures are advised.
Excision might be required if the areola (dark breast skin) need to be reduced in size or the nipple needs to move for a more masculine contour. Surgery choice and the breat conditions can change the incision patterns.
Sometimes both liposuction and excision can be used to treat gynecomastia at the same time.

Male breast reduction is generally performed under general anesthesia and typically takes a few hours to complete.
What about the scars?
If the gynecomastia operation also includes breast correction, incisions will be required. While most incision lines are concealed within natural contours, some may be visible and are a necessary result of breast reduction surgery.
Incisions are required for most male breast reduction procedures. Although most of the incision lines will be hidden in the natural curves of the body, some are noticeable. We should not forget that some incision lines are an inevitable by-product of breast reduction surgery, but this is highly case-dependent.
Recovery After Gynecomastia
Each patient’s recovery from gynecomastia is different. The incisions left from the surgery are quite small, but impact of liposucton under the skin is great.
Since healing happens gradually, it is very important to get enough rest in the days after surgery. Sleeping with your upper body slightly elevated will speed up the healing process and will reduce any swelling and bruising.
After the surgery, you should be able to return to work in about 5-7 days and resume light exercise in about 2 weeks. You should wait at least 3 weeks before starting any demanding upper body exercise, and it is normal to experience some bruising, swelling, and mild initial lumpiness.
It is also very typical to appear a little uneven. Generally, this is totally natural and will go away over in a few weeks.

Results
Some results will be apparent just after the procedure, the final results of the gynecomastia surgery will be permanent. The breast shape will improve and the size will reduce. Your self-esteem and confidence will certainly improve as a result of your enhanced upper body. You will wear your shirts and t-shirts with peace of mind, and you will say goodbye to the anxiety of being topless.
